Seaside has been running an early development program for kids in grade 4 and under for 18 years.
It is where many of our alumni started.
It is a great introduction to the sport for elementary school kids.
They learn how to play the game correctly and still have fun!

Seaside Development Programs 2025

Seaside's development program has been in existence for over 20 years and will be back on track this coming January 2025 with programs for girls in grades 4-6, boys in grades 6-7.

Development Program Details:

Location: South Surrey Elementary School (TBA)

10U&11U Girls
Girl’s in grade 4&5, born in 2014/15
Thursdays, 5:15pm - 6:30pm, Jan 11^th to February 29^th
Cost: $175 (+VBC recreational player membership)

12U Girls
Girl’s in grade 6, born in 2013
Thursdays, 6:30pm – 8:00pm, Jan. 11^th to February 29^th
Cost: $185 (+VBC recreational player membership)

12U&13U Boys
Boys in gr 6&7, born in 2012/13
Tuesdays, 5:00pm - 6:30pm, Jan 7th to February 25th
Cost: $185 (+VBC recreational player membership)

8 sessions
Instruction from qualified coaches
Skill development in setting, passing, hitting, serving
Introduction to defence and offense
Volleyball rules and regulations
Game play and teamwork

Note: Withdrawals after December 10th will be subject to a $50 admin fee. Withdrawals 5 business days prior to start no refunds.

Registration Information:

If you did not participate in a Seaside or Volleyball BC Club program from September 2024 to current, you will not be in the VBC Sportlomo registration system. Therefore, you will need purchase the Youth Recreational Members ($13) then taken to our event portal. This membership is a one time/year payment, covering all youth recreational programs until August 31st, 2025.
If you participated in a Seaside or Volleyball BC Club program from September 2024 to current, you will likely be in the VBC registration system and have already paid for the 24-25 VBC Youth Recreational Membership. When you register, you will be taken directly to event page to choose your camp.

The 2024-2025 Volleyball BC Youth Recreational Membership includes insurance coverage for all programs.
A cancellation fee of $50 will apply to any camp withdrawals 30 days prior to the start of the program. There will be no refunds for withdrawals after the 30 days prior to the start of each program.
All program fees are paid by credit card. GST will be added to the total.
Registration is not complete until payment is received. Please register with your son or daughter’s name. T-shirts are sized in Men’s and Youth sizes, so be sure to select the correct size when completing registration.
