Development Programs


...they start early...

Seaside has been running an early development program for kids in grade 6 and under for 17 years.
It is where many of our alumni started.
It is a great introduction to the sport for elementary school kids.
They learn how to play the game correctly and still have fun!

Seaside Development Programs 2022

Seaside's January Development Programs have been in existence for over 18 years and are now OPEN FOR REGISTRATION with programs for girls in grades 4-6, boys in grades 5-6.

How to Register: 

For our 2022 Development Programs, you are required to first purchase a VBC Youth annual Recreational Player membership 2022 in order to register for these programs ($12.50 + GST). 

Step 1: If you are not registered with SPORTLOMO (registration site), select this LINK to get set up on the system. If you are already registered with SPORTLOMO, log-in and go to step 2.

Step 2: Select Youth Recreational Player 2022 and press REGISTER (you must select the 2022 option). 

Step 3: After you make the recreational player membership payment return to the HOME MENU (left-hand menu bar) and select Events. You will see a list of Development programs. Select BUY for the program you want to attend.

2022 Development Programs

Boys Gr 5&6: Boys currently in grades 5 & 6 and/or born in 2011/12
Location: Morgan Elementary, 3366 156A st, Surrey
Days & Dates: Tuesdays, January 11th – March 1st  
Timeslot: 5:15pm to 6:30pm
# of Sessions: 8 x 1.25 hrs/session
Cost: $140 (GST included)

Girls Gr 4&5: Girls currently in grades 4 & 5 and/or born in 2011/12
Location: Morgan Elementary, 3366 156A st, Surrey
Days & Dates: Thursdays, January 13th – March 3rd
|Timeslot: 5:15pm to 6:30pm
# of Sessions: 8 x 1.25 hrs/session
Cost: $140 (GST included)

Gr 6 Girls: Girls currently in grade 6 and/or born in 2010
Location: Morgan Elementary, 3366 156A st, Surrey 
Days & Dates: Thursdays, January 13th – March 3rd
Timeslot: 6:30pm to 8:00pm
# of Sessions: 8 x 1.5 hrs/session
Cost: $160 (GST Included)

Program Details:
-Highlights include skill development, introduction to game play, high ratio of coach to player.
