Ph 3: Re-Opening Plan

The BC Provincial Government and the Provincial Health Organization announced today that we are moving into Phase 3 Return to Play Plan for volleyball. The changes that impact INDOOR volleyball include, normal volleyball training AND competition within a group. Masks are no longer mandatory but are optional. Spectators are not allowed indoors in this new phase.

This announcement will allow Seaside Volleyball Club to run their summer camps in normal fashion. Many of our existing health protocol measures for our facility will remain in place including open bay doors and ceiling fans for air circulation, encouraged frequent hand sanitizing, participants welcomed to opt out of wearing masks, continued daily facility cleaning and general common sense measures to keep our participants and coaches safe.

"It's been a very long haul for all of the athletes, coaches, administrators and parents, but I believe we are on the right track and turning the corner" says Shane Donen, club president. "We are excited to get back to normal and running our summer camps in a familiar way that kids really want."

More announcements expected in two weeks.
