Seaside Wins 4 Medals at BC Provincials

Seaside Volleyball Club had a strong showing at the provincial championships in 2017 with 4 medals over the past 3 weekends. Leading the pack was the boys Seaside Six Pack 15U team who won Gold over FVVC. Talon McMullin was named MVP. 16U boys Six Pack were narrowly defeated in the provincial final by FVVC in a three set thriller, losing 19-17 the third, claiming silver in front of a packed house at the Tradex this past Sunday. 17U boys Surf finished with an impressive 3rd place finish in the higher 18U division with a win over Prince George. Seaside 14U boys Surf also claimed silver after another narrow loss to FVVC, 16-14 in the third. 16U girls Surf also had a strong tournament finishing 4th just short of a medal in the highly competitive 16U girls division. In all, Seaside teams had 9 teams who finished in the top 8 in division 1, a strong showing for all. National championships are up next. Good luck to all!
