Sonny is a veteran club and high school coach, and a seasoned volleyball referee. He played high school volleyball at Gladstone and went to UVIC. Sonny has coached for the Eagles Volleyball club and has coached for many years in the high school system.
Sonny is a physical education teacher at Sands Secondary, in his second year coaching with Seaside, will be head coaching the 15U Boys Seaside Six Pack team this coming 2023 club season.
