Kyle Donen

Kyle Donen is a veteran Seaside coach for more than 8 years with the club. He is a veteran active coach in the BC Volleyball community coaching for many years throughout the Fraser Valley, including 5 years as head coach of UFV men's varsity program. He has coached club both boys and girls with Seaside and the Orangemen, high school at Langley Fundamental and worked as a Volleyball Canada Center of Excellence coach in Langley and Richmond. 

Kyle played his high school volleyball at Semiahmoo with the team winning gold and Kyle earning MVP honors for their provincial championships. He played his club volleyball at WRVC, Varsity Volleyball at Thompson Rivers and represented Team BC at the 2009 Canada Games. His playing career has taken him to many international locations including Europe, USA, Korea and Israel. For Seaside, Kyle has led the 16U and 17U teams to back-to-back bronze medals at the provincial championships in 2022 and 2023.

Kyle currently works as a project manager in the restoration field and coaches athletes at the WAVE, Seaside's training centre in Surrey. He will be Head Coaching the 16U Girls Surf team, as well as assistant coaching the 18U Boys Six Pack team for the 2024 season.
