Our staff are seasoned coaches, ex-players, students of the game and veteran volleyballers.
Our coaches are amongst the best in the club community.

Seaside is actively looking for to fill several head coaching positions for the 2024 season. If you are interested to find out more information please contact Shane Donen, club president at shane.donen@seasidevolleyball.com.

All Seaside Head Coaches comply with Volleyball BC and Volleyball Canada minimum coaching education and certification requirements.

All coaches;

must go through a Criminal Records Check process, updated to Volleyball BC annually.
are current members of the Coaching Association of Canada, the sports body that manages Canada’s National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Through the CAC at Coach.ca, coaches have access to the latest coaching education and resources. The NCCP program administers many of the courses our coaches have completed including Making Ethical Decisions, Making Headway (Concussion Protocol) and Multi-Sport modules.
stay current with additional web-based coaching resources including Volleyball Canada, Volleyball BC and the Art of Coaching websites.
must comply with our club's Coach Code of Conduct

All head coaches

have completed Volleyball Canada’s Foundations of Volleyball course further enhancing their volleyball coach IQ.
have completed or are working towards their Volleyball Coach Development and Advanced Development coaching certifications through Volleyball BC. This process includes all of the above plus attendance at workshops and final evaluations by our senior certified coaching staff.

Interested in Coaching at Seaside? Would you like to be part of our coaching staff? We are known for providing a high level of support for our coaches. We understand, you just want to coach. We let you do just that, with lots of support on and off the court (including per diems and honorariums). If you are interested, talk to us. Tell us who you are and why you want to coach.
